About Us

REDS timber flooring was established in 1988 as a small one-man residential business, with the focus on sanding and sealing of existing timber floors. With Douglas previous experience working as a cabinet maker he soon saw the advantage that having one contractor to install the floors as well as finish them, this ensures total control of the floor and special needs required to obtain the perfect finish. Over the next 30 years REDS developed from a small one-man business to become one of the most respected flooring contractors in WA. Doing many jobs for some of the most prestigious and awarded builders in Perth, mainly focusing on solid local timbers and timber stair cases.

Now the business has two distinct side, one dealing with large development, multi-story high end apartments and the other side dealing with the smaller builders, handling shop fit out, house renovations, new builds and much more.

Claire Di Silvio

Project Manager / Office Manager
Claire has 20 years experience working as a project manager for a variety of Perths Builders, with a wealth of construction knowledge and experienced interior designer.
 
Always up for a challenge, Claire is eager to dive into new projects and not afraid to think outside the box.
 
She is an adventurous  person with a zest for life. On the weekends you might find her outdoors with her family, down at the beach chasing the sunshine.

Douglas Pollitt

Managing Director
Doug has been in the timber flooring industry since 1988, and in that time has grown from a flooring sanding only business to a full installation of all types of flooring, he is involved in the manfactoring of solid timber & high end engineered flooring.
 
With his keen eye and desire to be the best, Doug has created a reputation as one of the most trusted flooring companies in Perth.
 
On a personnel note, Doug has put his commitment to 3 solo crossings of the Rottnest channel swim, is a avid snow skier and traveller along with a plethora of dad jokes to share.

Hannah Pollitt

Office Administrator
Priding herself on her on her inter-personnel skills, with a background in retail sales. Hannah is able to source all of your flooring requirement ensuring our customers wants and needs are met every time.
 
Our teams ray of sunshine, Hannah stays ontop of our marketing and social media campaigns spreading joy with every interaction.
 
Hannah’s love for the outdoors and ocean, she enjoys keeping mentally and physically fit.
